Stef de Klerk
Born in the Eastern Cape, in South Africa, Stef de Klerk was raised among the amaXhosa people and absorbed their local culture and language from a very young age. Being fluent in Xhosa has certainly assisted in his choice of models for his work, which serves to create awareness of the innate beauty of the heritage of dance and movement among this group of people.
Having a clear passion for dance, he has been photographing the human form in movement since 1996. In these images he captures the often ignored aspects of the male figure; via their gentle, elegant, creative, emotional and sensual nature.

Justin Polkey
Justin Polkey is an independent photographer from Cape Town. He specializes in fashion advertorials and portraits. Polkey has done work for national and international magazines such as GQ, Elle and G&W. Although some of his work can be associated with the typical style of fashion photography, in his series of works, Indigo Girl and First Dance, he explores a deeper notion of conceptual elements and thus the work is not what one would see on an average magazine page. Polkey has also done portraits of actors, musicians and public figures such as Billy Zane, Sir Ian Mckellen, Seth Rotherham and Nelson Mandela.

Ilse Moore
Ilse Moore studied through the University of South Africa and obtained a degree in Visual Arts in 2009. She has been featured in many publications and was apart of the Sasol New Signatures exhibition in 2010.
“While my underwater photography often involves commercial shoots, my conceptual work speaks of a subconscious denial of reality. I have always been attracted to surreal imagery. I believe that photography as a medium lends a kind of realism to these ‘fantasies’, allowing it to exist in closer relationship to the viewer.”
Her underwater photography consists of fashion, fine art as well as commercial photography.
