Alain Proust is a Cape Towns based advertising photographer. He was born in France, but currently lives in Cape Town since it is big on food and wine industries which are his greatest love. He is one of the industry leaders. His work covers many fields from photography of the world’s leading hotels to in-studio advertising stills and panoramic landscapes. He has developed his own methods of lighting bottles. His work has taken him to all corners of the globe but he spends a lot of time taking panoramic photos throughout Southern Africa and makes an annual trip back to his country of birth, continually establishing himself in its Wine Industry.

Justin Polkey
Justin Polkey is an independent photographer from Cape Town. He specializes in fashion advertorials and portraits. Polkey has done work for national and international magazines such as GQ, Elle and G&W. Although some of his work can be associated with the typical style of fashion photography, in his series of works, Indigo Girl and First Dance, he explores a deeper notion of conceptual elements and thus the work is not what one would see on an average magazine page. Polkey has also done portraits of actors, musicians and public figures such as Billy Zane, Sir Ian Mckellen, Seth Rotherham and Nelson Mandela.

Jan Ras
Jan Ras’s passion for photography led him to study the genre at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. After completing his studies, he travelled extensively for a few years while working as photographer in the tourism industry. Jan moved to Cape Town in 2000 and worked as freelance photographer before joining Media24’s Creative Living magazines in 2004. He is currently employed on a contract basis by New Media Publishing’s photographic studios and is also available for freelance work. Jan specialises in food, décor, beauty and fashion.

Adam Letch
Adam Letch is a Cape Town based photographer with an extensive background in a wide range of photographic disciplines.
He has attained formal qualifications in photography from leading South African institutions, and is presently Head of Photography at the Ruth Prowse School of Art in Cape Town. His photographic interests range from the production of personal Art based projects to working on commercially based assignments with a host of local clients.
Adam’s work marries an almost obsessive attention to detail and sound technical skill with creative conceptualization and a natural rapport with his subject. His work displays a distinct photographic style which is both assured and creative.
